Ice Hockey

Aside from the following special betting rules, the common betting rules apply. The special rules will take precedence over the common rules nevertheless.

.) Date: For “American Ice Hockey” (NHL, AHL, UHL, WHL, OHL and Quebec Major Junior hockey league), all games must be played on the scheduled calendar day (at venue) and at the scheduled venue for bets to stand.

.) Overtime: Overtime (including any subsequent shootout) counts for all markets unless stated otherwise. In the event of a shoot out, the winning team are credited with one goal and this counts for all markets where applicable.

.) Playing Time: If the match is abandoned before the official outcome then the result is regarded to be official after

  • “55” minutes of play for “American Ice Hockey” (NHL, AHL, UHL, WHL, OHL and Quebec Major Junior hockey league).
  • “60” minutes of play for “Non American Ice Hockey”.

Unless otherwise stated, this rule applies to all kinds of bets.

.) 2-Way: All bets will be settled on the final result including Overtime and Penalty Shout-outs, unless otherwise stated.

.) Puck Line: A puck line is a bet where a handicap is given to a selection. The result used for settling is the match result adjusted for the handicap line available at the time the bet is struck. For example, Tampa Bay +1.5 v Calgary -1.5, result: Tampa Bay 2-3 Calgary. Tampa Bay wins on the handicap. Overtime counts for all puck lines.

.) Total Goals/Team Goals: The game total result is the combined goals for both teams inclusive of overtime. At least 15 minutes of official time must elapse in the third period for bets to stand, unless the total is already over. In the event of the totals goals being the exact quote but no exact price is offered, all stakes are refunded.

.) Race to X Goals: The winner will be the team to achieve the number of specified goals first. This market includes Overtime and any subsequent shootout. In the event of a shootout, the winning team is credited with one goal.

.) First Player to Score: If a player has not entered the field of play before the first goal has been scored, then this player is deemed a “non-runner” which means that all bets on this player are void. Overtime does not count. In the event of an abandoned game, bets stand on scores that have already taken place.

.) Player(s) props: The respective player(s) must dress for bets to stand. Overtime counts for all proposition markets, except for those that are based on specific periods of play. At least 15 minutes of official time must elapse in the third period for bets to stand.

.) Winner of 1st, 2nd or 3rd Period: Only the goals scored within the nominated period count. Unless otherwise stated, overtime does not count for the result of the 3rd period. Dead heat rules apply to the Highest Scoring Period market.

.) Goalbet (Correct Score): If the final result is outside offered outcomes, all bets will be settled as “lost”.

.) If a moneyline, total or handicap bet ends in a draw and no odds have been offered for this option, all bets will be void.

.) Regular Season Points: All teams must play all regular season games for bets to stand. If the season is shortened for whatever reason, then all bets will be void, unless the highest possible option has already been attained, in which case all bets stand.

.) How many 2 or 5 minute penalties will be awarded in the Xth period? For this bet, each 2 minute or 5 minute penalty counts as 1, so if 3 x 2 minute penalties are awarded, the winning option will be 'Under 3,5'. If, however, a 2 + 2 minute penalty is awarded, it counts as 2 x 2 minutes. This means if 1 x 5 minute, 1 x 2 minute and 2 + 2 minute penalties are awarded, the winning option will be 'Over 3,5'. All penalties awarded before a period starts are counted for the previous period, so if a 2 minute penalty is given during the 1st intermission, this counts for the 1st period.

.) Rest of Regular Time/Rest of Period X: This bet is settled referring to the result of the game between the placement of the bet and the end of regular time / period. The correct result is the theoretical outcome of the game if the score at the time of bet placement had been 0:0. The current score at the time of bet placement is displayed in the market game, i.e. ‘Rest of Regular Time – current result 1:2’ so if game ends 2:3 then draw will be winning option. The bet "Rest of Period X" is settled accordingly.

.) “Grand Salami”/NHL: This bet refers to the total number of goals scored over all the matches played on a given day. Only games played on the day (according to the NHL schedule) count. Should any games be postponed or any games added to the schedule after the initial odds have been posted, then all bets will be void. Should any games be abandoned during play, then all bets will be void. Points scored in overtime are included. In the event of a shootout, the winning team are credited with one goal.

.) All Star Game: Each game is 20 minutes, the entire game must be played for bets to stand. Overtime counts for all markets. The All Star winner is the team that wins the final

.) Division Champions: If the season is shortened for any reason then bets will be settled based on the Division Champion declared by the respective governing body.

.) Nominated Finalists: The finalists are the players/teams that really content the final regardless of how they get there, including decisions made by any governing bodies.

.) Playing time exception: Matches in Russian Liga Pro are played over 30 minutes (3*10 minutes periods) and this is considered Regular Time in this league.

.) Short Hockey leagues have listed playing time of 3x10 or 3x15 minutes and this is considered regular time for these leagues.

.) Winner and Both Teams to Score X Goals : Bet is on which team will win the game and whether both teams will score the specified number of goals. This market is settled based on regular time only and does not include overtime.
