SOCIAL MEDIA TERMS AND CONDITIONS
There’s plenty of prizes to be won in the PartyPoker Social Media competitions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1 Promoterand competition
The promoter is LC International of Suite 6, Atlantic Suites, Europort Avenue, Gibraltar GX11 1AA (“Promoter”).
2 Eligibility
2.1 There is a limit of One entry to each competition per person.
2.2 The competition is only open to:
(a) players with a verified, real money PartyPoker account
(b) those aged 18 years or over;
except: an employee of the Promoter, its affiliated companies, or their families, Promoter’s agents, contractors, consultants or anyone professionally connected with the competition.
2.3 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
2.4 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that it believes are: (i) automatically generated; (ii) completed by third parties or in bulk; (iii) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; (iv) photocopies and not originals; or (v) incomplete.
2.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct or entry is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition including entries containing objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or languages.
3 How to enter
3.1 The competition Opening Date andClosing Date will be clearly stated on Competition post.
3.2 To enter the competitionyou must:
(a) Have or create an online account with PartyPoker
(b) Follow the steps listed on competition by the Closing Date; and
(c) If you are a new follower, you must click ‘Follow’ on the Promoter’s official Twitter, Facebook or Instagram page, as listed.
3.3 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.4 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
3.5 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please see www.partypoker.com for a copy of these competition terms and conditions. 4 The prize
4.1 The prize will be clearly listed on posting of competition.
4.2 The prize, if referring to an event does not include transport, unless stated.
4.3 The prize, unless stated does not include travel insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports or stations (as applicable), food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner(s).
4.4 The prize is subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute or change the prize for a reasonable alternative. There is no cash alternative for the prizein whole or in part and the prize is not negotiable or transferable.
5 Winner and claiming the prize
5.1 The winner of the competition will be chosen at random and announcedwhen listed on competition post. The decision of the Promoter is final (including any situation not covered by these terms) and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
5.2 In order to claim the prize you may be required to reply to the post with their real money account username, where the winner will be chosen at random.
5.3 Subject to 5.4 below, the Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the social media username, email address or telephone number provided by you.
5.4 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 7 of days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
6 Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
7 Data protection
The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy
8 General
8.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
8.2 In the event of any decision or dispute regarding the validity of any entry, the eligibility of any entrant and the eligibility for the competition, the decision of the Promoter will be final.
8.3 If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
8.4 The Promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel this competition or amend these terms and conditions without notice if the change or cancellation is a result of any legal or regulatory reason.
8.5 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
